BUTTERFLY PAVILION
For the second annual year, the Chelsea Gardens Foundation hosted hundreds of visitors to view butterflies this past Mother's Day weekend. Tickets were available for purchase at the door for the event and plants of all varieties, most being very welcoming to butterflies, were sold. 'Kids' of all ages enjoyed the butterflies, as thousands fly around them inside the pavilion. Visitors are encouraged to entice the butterflies to land on them with a sweet soy sauce and fructose based liquid, making for some great pictures. The event is preceded by a cocktail reception, which tickets can be bought in advance for. After the pavilion is closed to visitors, the butterflies are allowed to leave the pavilion into their natural habitat.
