VOLUNTEERS |
|
|
Volunteer success and effectiveness is accomplished when volunteers are appreciated. Like rare flowers or plant life, volunteers need special care, individual attention and an opportunity to continue the growth of an organization. Most non-profit organizations could not survive without the dedicated hours of work and expertise donated by their volunteers. Chelsea
Gardens Foundation volunteers have assisted in hosting special events,
and fund raising projects including speakers, lectures, and the cooking
contests, etc. Volunteers have also helped with the planting and
maintenance at the sign site on Rockwell Street. Among our volunteers are artists who have
designed posters, invitations, and helped decorate “theme projects”.
Volunteers have assisted with the Annual Drive, computer projects, the
Butterfly Pavilion, as well as general networking. There is a
place in our “garden” for everyone. If you are interested in volunteering, you can fill out a form here. To inquire about volunteer opportunities, please e-mail chelseagardens@gmail.com. |
